At least 20 characters, at most 1,500. For a bug, include the page, what you entered and what you saw.

Before you write

  • Your location looks wrong. The city and provider shown for an IP address come from a third-party geolocation database, not from us, and we cannot edit it. It is approximate by nature and often shows your provider's hub, not your town. If it is badly wrong, your internet provider can ask the database owners to correct it.
  • A tool shows sample output. Ping, traceroute, the port checker, the blacklist check and HTTP headers run from a probe server. When it is not connected they show results labeled as sample. That is expected and not a bug.
  • No IPv6 address was detected. This is normal on many connections. The IPv6 test explains what it means.
  • A DNS change is not showing. Public resolvers cache the old answer until its TTL runs out. The DNS lookup page covers this.

Privacy requests

To ask what we hold about you, or to have it deleted, choose the topic "Privacy request". The site has no accounts, so tell us the IP address you used and roughly when you visited. That is the only way we can find anything in server logs. The privacy policy lists your rights and what is kept.
